Hi! I’m Lauren, your career and HR strategist. With experience across hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, and global NGOs like Habitat for Humanity and CARE International, I’ve led initiatives in HR, operations, culture, DEIB, and financial wellness. I’ve worked with over 6,000
job seekers—helping early-career professionals to senior executives with career planning, resume writing, and job search strategies. Known as the “Job Lady” in my community, I founded the first career center for resettled refugees in metro Atlanta and launched Community Lending Circles inspired by West African village savings models during the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally from the UK, with Indian and Caribbean roots, I grew up in Northeast Atlanta and studied Strategic HR at Cornell and International Economics & Sociology at Emory. What is the initial consultation call?
This first call with me will provide you an opportunity to share your professional and personal experiences. With this background information, I can learn more about you and provide optimal resume and cover letter orders. Depending on your background, our call could range from 30 minutes to over an hour. The goal of the call is to capture vital information that may be missing from the resume.
What is your basic Always Ready Package?
In the basic Always Ready package, I will provide basic editing and commentary on your resume and cover letter. You will be required to provide me with an existing resume (Word format) and a job description that interests you. I will send you a revised copy with my edits and comments to apply my feedback to further customize on your own.
